Hi,This is what I have needed to do with my X5340 using the original XP installation CD. I installed my old printer from 2009 and it was working well with windows 8. I bought this new laptop in August, it came with Windows 8 and worked fine. What I would like is an app that lets me scan to the PC from the printer - the current Java version doesn't work in Windows 10 - and generally have some control over what the printer is doing. It identifies I have a Lexmark printer and then does nothing. The Lexmark X2670 is by some distance the worst all-in-one we’ve tested. Colour prints were an improvement, but a 6 x 4in photo took two minutes to print, and still needed a good few minutes to dry sufficiently for us to handle without it sticking to our fingers. Draft text is pale and streaky, while normal mode failed to reproduce solid areas of black and offered only speckly text.
